THE SECOND FLOOR
Baby's Room
This is the baby room which
is for a 6 month old girl.  The
baby room was completed
just about the same time our
grandchild Grace turned 6
months old so I felt it fitting
to name my miniature baby
girl “Grace” after our
granddaughter.   I’ve always
had a love of wicker
furniture and decided to do
the décor in white wicker.
Grace is kneeling in her crib
or maybe on the floor
playing with her toys.  Take
notice of the dust ruffle
around her crib – Steve
made the curtains, dust
ruffle and blanket in the
crib.   I bought a few pull
toys and a rattle.  On the
book shelf are children’s
books, more toys and baby
hangers for Grace’s clothes.
Bathroom
My favorite piece in the
bathroom is the tray filled with
a mirror and soap which is
sitting on the tub.  Above the
sink there’s a mirror and a
shelf with a cup and soap.  I put
a basket on the floor which is
filled with the baby’s creams
and toiletries.  The towel racks
have towels hanging.   I made
the rugs out of a piece of soft
fleece from the hobby store for
50 cents.
Master Bedroom
The Master
Bedroom is done in
peaches, pinks and
white.  Notice the
hat, handbag, corset
and garter on the
bed.  Her shoes are
on the floor with the
parasol leaning
against the bed.   On
top of the dresser
there are perfumes
and hair brushes.
Sitting Room
In the front part of the
house is a sitting room
which is part of the master
bedroom.  This is the room
where my miniature family
sit can sit and write letters.
Be careful with the ink jar.
They can even take time
out to play the harp.
Hallway
The hallway was difficult to
decorate because it's so
small, but it deserved all the
attention of every other
room in my house. Steve
added wall sconces to light
the way.
Looks like Holly is going up
to bed.
The pictures on the wall are
significant to me.  The
picture on the left is of my
parents taken around 1949.
The picture on the right is of
my grandparents when they
were young.
