Hi! My name is Karen. Welcome to my miniature world.
I've always had a dream to own a real dollhouse. In the fall of 2006 my husband Steve bought me the Harborside Manor. I always loved the Victorian era and The Harbor Side Manor dollhouse kit by Real Good Toys seemed like the perfect dollhouse. It was delivered as two boxes filled with "sticks". We wanted to customize the original house so we ordered in addition to the standard house, operating windows, a lighting kit from Cir-Kits, a circular staircase on the main floor, the porch and a conservatory. When the dollhouse was almost completed, I decided that it would be fun to describe the process involved in building and decorating Harborside Manor. When you finish the tour, I hope you've enjoyed Harborside Manor as much as I enjoyed the excitement of watching Steve build it and the fun I had shopping and decorating for it. It truly has been a life long dream for me to own a real dollhouse. In closing, I would like to thank my husband Steve for all of his hard and tedious work he put into building Harborside Manor in just one year. He is my hero in life who forever brings me joy and happiness!
